Preparation
Please use the test kit at room temperature (15~30 C).
Prepare a timer (such as watch, clock), tissue, hand sanitizer / soap and warm water.
Wash hands thoroughly (at least 20 seconds) with soap and warm water / hand sanitizer.
Sample Collecting
Unscrew the tube cover of the sample extraction tube place it on a table. Take out the disposable sampling swab.
With the patient’s head tilted back 70 degrees.
Gently insert the single-use swab into the nostril about 2.5 cm until turbinate meet resistance, rotate the single-use swab 5 times. Repect the same procedure for the other nostril.
Insert the swab head into the sample extraction tube to the bottom of the bottle, and gently rotate the swab about 10 times to keep the liquid in the tube as much as possible, throw used swabs into bio-safety waste disposal bag.
Close the tube cap tightly and mix the sample for later use.
Unscrew the sample extraction tube drop hole cover, add 2 drops vertically into the sample hole of the test card.
Start timing, the test result should be interpreted within 15-20 minutes. If it exceeds 30 minutes the interpretation result is invalid.
Interpretation of the Result
Negative: The quality control line (C Line) has red bands, while the test line (T line) has no red bands.
Positive: Both C line and T line have red bands.
Invalid: Once the red line in C line region doesn’t appear which will be treated as invalid.
